We are constantly in need of adults to assist in the running of Units for all ages of Guides, from the littlest Rainbows to the Senior Section.

Providing you are female* and aged between 18 and 65, you will be welcomed with open arms. You do not have to have any experience whatsoever, as all training will be given : you will not be thrown in at the deep end! The Guide Association values all its adult volunteers and takes good care to ensure that they are all fully trained for the job they have chosen to do. Part of this training involves a Police Check, as you will surely appreciate that our first commitment is to the girls in our care.

"Returning" Guiders, or Guiders who have moved to the area, are also very welcome and a unit in their own locality will be found for them.

*Although Girlguiding UK is an organisation for women and girls, there are opportunities for men within the movement. Although men cannot become warranted Guiders, they can and do act as Unit Helpers and Advisers, and also as treasurers, secretaries etc., for units, districts, divisions or even county.
