County Training Calendar 2004

Here is the final version of East Yorkshire’s calendar for 2004. It includes trainings and other events. Why not put dates into your diaries now so you do not miss them??

There are a few things you should be aware of.
1. Unless otherwise stated, applications for all events should be on the official form. Please fill it in carefully including all details requested and send it, with a stamped addressed envelope (for information before the training). You will be asked for an additional 50p if you do not include this envelope. Please use a separate form (you may photocopy it) for each trainee and each training.
2. Day trainings start at 10.00 and finish at 4.30 (5.00 p.m. for First Response) unless otherwise stated. Afternoon trainees should arrive at 1.30 p.m. All evening trainings are from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m.
3. The cost of evening trainings is £3.00, a full day £7.00 and half a day £4.00. Occasionally one may cost more due to outside factors, in which case this is stated. Training fees are a legitimate Unit expense and can be charged to the Unit. Receipts will be issued.
4. All trainings are open to Guiders, Unit Helpers, Young Leaders and Trefoil Guild.
5. Packed lunches should be brought to day trainings and it is advisable to bring drinks to all trainings. Although some are provided, the quantity depends how many Guiders are able to hostess at the event!
6. Uniform should be worn to trainings and you should bring pens, pencils, notebook and any appropriate publications. In addition, it is helpful if you bring scissors, sticky tape and glue to craft sessions.
7. The closing date for ALL trainings is 3 weeks before the event. Please adhere to this – we usually cannot accept late entries.
8. Entries in italics are events organised by North East England or CHQ. They issue details of how to apply, either in Guiding magazine or through County channels.

All applications should be sent to Mandie Cross.
